Plan changes

Upgrade

Upgrade at any time from the dashboard. The new plan’s limits apply immediately. Billing is prorated to your current cycle.

Downgrade

Downgrade takes effect at your next renewal date. Until then, your current plan’s limits and features remain. If your current usage exceeds the lower plan’s limits (e.g., on Pro you’re using 8 repos, but Max → Pro), the downgrade is allowed but new repo installs will be blocked until you remove some.

Cancellation

Cancellation drops you to Free at the next renewal date. You’re billed for the current cycle. To cancel immediately and prorate a refund, contact billing.

Usage tracking

The dashboard shows:
  • Reviews used in the current 5-hour window
  • Reviews used per day for the past 30 days
  • Peak-window analysis (busiest hours of the week)
  • Per-repo review distribution
API access to the same data is in the /v1/usage endpoint.

Invoices

Invoices are emailed to the billing contact on file at the start of each billing cycle. Past invoices are downloadable from the dashboard. To change the billing contact: dashboard → Settings → Billing → Edit.

Invoice format

PDFs include:
  • Plan name + cycle dates
  • Number of reviews used vs. cap
  • Line items for any add-ons (e.g., custom-throughput uplift)
  • Tax (if applicable based on your billing region)

Payment methods

Supported:
  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • ACH (Pro/Max only; configure on the dashboard or contact us)
  • Wire transfer (Max + custom-throughput only)
To update your payment method: dashboard → Settings → Billing → Payment methods.

Failed payments

If a charge fails (expired card, insufficient funds), Sigilix:
  1. Emails the billing contact immediately
  2. Retries the charge after 3 days
  3. Retries again after 7 days
  4. After 14 days of failed retries, the subscription drops to Free until a successful payment is made
Reviews continue at Free-tier limits during the grace period. Pro/Max features (multi-repo, Custom rules with priority, etc.) remain enabled until day 14.

Refunds

Refunds are evaluated case-by-case. We typically refund:
  • Service outages where Sigilix was unavailable for >4 hours
  • Accidental upgrade if reversed within 7 days
  • Duplicate charges
We don’t typically refund:
  • Plan downgrades within a paid cycle
  • Unused review capacity at the end of a cycle (use it or lose it)
Contact billing@arcanchor.com with your invoice number and reason.

Tax & compliance

Sigilix is provided by Arc and Anchor LLC (US). We collect:
  • US state sales tax where required
  • EU VAT for European customers (reverse-charge for VAT-registered businesses)
For tax-exempt status (e.g., 501(c)(3) nonprofits), email billing@arcanchor.com with your exemption certificate.
